One of the first luxury fashion brands that chose kymo to furnish their flagship stores was the swiss manufacturer Navyboot. As part of its latest retrofitting, Navyboot’s Zurich store was the first to be custom-fitted with Studio NYC Classic Edition carpeting, rounding off the new splendour of the urban sales space. Distinguished, minimal, contemporary – Studio NYC underlines the core values of the store’s new image.

Allianz Suisse Headquarters

As the biggest insurance company in Europe, the Allianz Group needs no introduction. But it now owns something that is worth an introduction: its new headquarters at Allianz Suisse. A new office environment was created for the building, with a design and architecture that was specially conceived to make it easier for people to concentrate, communicate and unwind. In the lobby area there is now also a kymo Studio NYC Polyester Edition carpet, exemplifying in perfect fashion how to ‘partition’ an open space.

Schjødt

The spacious premises of the renowned lawyer’s practice Schjødt in Oslo simply breathe seriousness and renown. No question about it, the kymo edition Studio NYC Pearl Edition fits seamlessly into the greater picture, adding an exclamation mark that is true to style. Thought up by the fantastic designers at ZINC, the wide-ranging interior design concept on display in the offices illustrates how carpets help underline the divisions between the various functional sections, while creating a link between the various interior styling concepts.

USM Headquarter Germany

USM is a traditional Swiss company famous for its module-based shelving system, USM Haller – meanwhile a genuine design classic. kymo is an official partner of USM and supplied fittings not only to its main German office in Bühl but also to its monobrand stores throughout Germany. It’s no coincidence that USM’s microcosm of modularity is mainly fitted with our similarly modular Class-of-Leather models, underscoring our intimate understanding of coherent design.

Benetti Panthera Yacht

Benetti, an Italian producer of luxury yachts, recently welcomed a new mega-yacht to the fold: the Panthera. Not a fraction of a fathom off the course of qualità and stile, naturally the Panthera delivered exactly what it was expected to: one superlative after another. A particular highlight for us below deck was the SG Airy Premium Low Cut, which covered all cabins and saloon areas in the perfectly appropriate Wild Dove colour option. What a feast for the eyes – a dynamite mixture of cosy comfort and fashion fatale.

Villa Zen Barn

The owners of this private villa in Canada call their house a work of art. Indeed, this is the best compliment the clients could pay to the designer of the house, Rick Shean. The lounge area bears the unique kymo hallmark of THE MASHUP Concept Edition. This is an outstanding choice in every aspect as it marries materials of tradition with modernity. Rather than inserting itself compliantly into the setting, the carpet plays to the surrounding hues, thus attentively emphasising the overall context of the colour scheme.

Garden Villa

You may be aching to jump into a cool swimming pool when it’s hot and sticky outside, but be careful with kymo’s SG Polly Outdoor – it only hints at being a pool. Its duplicity lies in its amazingly intense atoll blue and its flowing, glowing polyester pile. In combination with its accessories, which play subtly to different shades of blue, this outdoor carpet adds that certain je-ne-sais-quoi to the prevailing greens and white of the garden villa setting.

HQ Bank is a Swedish financial services provider that specialises in investment funds and financial transactions. But the financial wizard also knows a thing or two about other topics – such as interior design and selecting the best materials to spice up a head office. The seating area in its lobby is now home to a huge kymo highlight: THE MASHUP Collectors Edition. This instantly brightens up the otherwise dry setting, providing a stylish touch to the overall area.

Swarovski

Daniel Swarovski founded his company over a century ago. To this day, the Swarovski name is the epitome of premium quality jewellery, exquisite crystals and fine workmanship. Naturally, the only option for the interior of the Swarovski HQ in London was carefully selected designer furnishing and fine fittings. These included two kymo Studio NYC Pearl Edition carpets, not only to reflect the form of the furniture, but also to mirror the glamour of the crystal lampshades suspended from the ceiling. The ideal choice. Perfection.

The Art’otel, which lies in Amsterdam’s city centre, pays homage to the seamless interplay between art, design and lifestyle. Knightshouse Penthouse

Originally from Sweden, Staffan Tollgård, who we also got to know personally on a recent trip to London, isn't just an extremely pleasant and likeable fellow, but also considered one of the top interior designers in the United Kingdom at the moment.

IG&H Consulting

Transparent. Communicative. Inspiring. The interior design in the offices of Dutch strategy and consulting firm 'IG&H Consulting' bears the hallmark of a planning concept that omits structural divisions in the rooms. Instead, it uses a structure based on glass, furniture and carpeting. Based on a concept proposed by the wonderful office C4ID Interieurarchitecten – Casper Schwarz in Hilversum, this exemplary form of execution also demonstrates a sure hand in its selection of floorwear. The philosophy of understatement manifest in the matt SG Planet Rock is seamlessly incorporated in the idea and makes a major contribution in the accomplished high-end design.
